Léon Coupal is an accomplished singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Montreal. His professional experience includes adventures in a wide range of musical genres, spanning five decades.

As the bandleader of the Innu band Kashtin,

he has toured Canada, France, and the United States. He has also played with several Quebec artists. He was very present on the Quebec blues scene, with Black Cat Bone (Paul Deslauriers), Charlie Harper and the Rhythm Rockers, and The Blue Gators, among others. He has written music for theatre and documentaries.
